Notes: Many of the people on these two pages of the manifest were destined for Norfolk Nebraska, also many mention going to stay with Christian Derr in Norfolk NE. Adam Schaefer’s surname is spelled as Schaefel on manifest for this family. Adam Schaffer married to Catha (Katrina, Katharina, Anna Katherine) Beitz. Both state they were born in Michaelsdorf on their naturalization papers. This family was enumerated in Michaelsdorf on the 1896 census, and after which resided for a short time in Saratov before departing in 1899 for the US.
